Ara-Kara, City of Echoes is a dungeon located in Azj-Kahet in Kaz Algar.
Boss guide
Avanoxx
The Avanoxx encounter takes a decent chunk of the platform.
- Deals AoE damage with Alerting Shrill, summoning spiders.
- Spiders fixate players and should be killed.
- If they get in range of the boss, she gets a 50% damage buff.
- Deals AoE damage with Gossamer Onslaught.
- Players must move when webs spawn under them.
- Voracious Bite inflicts heavy damage to its target and increases damage taken for a period of time.
Anub'zekt
- Places Infestation on players, dealing high damage over time.
- When the debuff expires, it spawns a moving Ceaseless Swarm which also deals damage.
- Charges towards a random player and knocks back anyone hit.
- At 100 energy, summons a small safety circle that slowly moves.
- The tank should stand at one side of the circle for Impale frontals.
- The group should stand at the other side.
- Summons a Bloodstained Webmage that needs to be killed.
- Interrupt Silken Restraints.
- During Eye of the Swarm, the healer needs to put special focus on players with Infestation and Ceaseless Swarm.
Ki'katal the Harvester
- Bloodworkers nees to be struck to make them drop their Black Blood.
- The boss casts Cosmic Singularity at 100 energy.
- All players should soak a Black Blood on the ground to get rooted by Grasping Blood.
- Any non-rooted players will get pulled to the boss and likely die.
- On Mythic difficulty, Black Blood is absorbed after a single player steps in it.
- After the cast finishes, interrupt or CC your add to break the root.
- Applies Cultivated Poison to all players, dealing damage over time.
- When it expires, the player erupts in waves in the indicated direction.
- Should be dispelled to reduce damage.
